EMS Shipping & Trading GmbH, the concessionaire that manages the eastern terminal in Durrës, categorically denies the responsibility that Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku passed on to the load of toxic waste bound for Thailand. As well as showing the authorization from the institutions for allowing the export of dangerous cargo. So in this case the EMS company is only a link in the waste transport chain.
The position held in this case, Report Tv has also faced the contract signed from May 2013, between the Ministry of Public Works and Transport with the German company EMS, a 35-year contract.

For weeks, state institutions, including the judiciary, have been on the move for 2 ships that are suspected of having exported to Thailand 816 tons of toxic waste, produced by the KURUM company, and transported to the port of Durrës by the Sokolaj SHPK company.
