Today at 10:00 AM, the last session of this parliamentary session begins, as the organizers of the protest have requested gathering in front of the building as early as 8:00 AM.
After speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, protesters marched through the capital with flags and banners in their hands and chants against politics.
Meanwhile, the Parliament has been surrounded by numerous police forces who have blocked the surrounding roads with metal fences, and traffic has been diverted.
Increased numbers of FNSH officers have also arrived in the area, while four vans of this force have been deployed.
The protesters have stated that the purpose of the protest is to convey the message to the deputies that citizens do not feel represented by the current parliament and demand a response to their concerns.
With banners and slogans against the government, protesters repeated the slogan "You do not represent us!" while demanding political change.
The non-negotiable demand of the protesting citizens is the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"Let's show the parliament that they don't represent us and that we are not satisfied with the work they are doing. In the coming days we have prepared some interesting things," the activists declared.
On Tuesday, citizens protested in front of the Parliament, chanting slogans such as "Crime Parliament", "Rama, resign" and "You do not represent us".
The protesters also announced that many laws are expected to be passed in the Assembly today, including the Mountains Package, and that they would not allow MPs to vote on them, as Albania is being sold.
It has also been announced that the protest will be accompanied by an action to hit the members of the Assembly with eggs or flour and for this reason they will be ambushed at the entrance of the institution, regardless of the police measures.
This will be the fourth citizen protest held in front of the Parliament. In previous protests in front of the Parliament, a group of citizens threw eggs at MPs and their cars.
