An investigation launched by the prosecutor's office of Tirana has brought to light new details on the property alienation scheme in the area of the former Bërxulë municipality and the villages around it.
At the head of this scheme of theft of state properties and residents of the area, through the falsification of AMTPs, is the former mayor of Bërxulë municipality, Ymer Marku, and some employees of this municipality who have interacted in cooperation with each other.
"Ora News" learns that apart from the three abusive files where it is suspected that a land area of 7,500 square meters, 10,800 square meters and 10,000 square meters has been alienated, file No. 4 is currently being verified by the investigation group at the Tirana Prosecutor's Office .
It is about a property with an area of 4,000 square meters located in the village of Brukë in the former municipality of Bëxulë.
The documents seized by the Tirana prosecutor's office show that this area is owned by the citizen Arben Tafa, who has strong doubts that he is not the real owner of this real estate.
At the time when this property was registered and the documents were completed, it turns out that Arben Tafa was employed as a plumber near the former municipality of Berxulla.
Sources near the prosecution said that Tafa worked together with Kujtim Marku, who is the son of Ymer Marku's uncle, the former mayor of Bëxulla who is currently in prison after an arrest warrant issued by the Tirana prosecutor's office.
Regarding the mortgage registration of this property of 4,000 square meters, the prosecution has shown concern and Arben Tafa, who, although it turns out to be the owner of the land, does not have any historical document to prove the origin of this real estate.
The case in question is being followed by an investigative group that was set up in the prosecutor's office in Tirana, where Ymer Marku, former elder Agim Loci and the former Head of the Land Protection and Management Office near Bërxulle Municipality have ended up in handcuffs. Kujtim Balliu, after they had falsified the documents and in abuse of duty had alienated the surface of the land, passing it to the fourth arrested person, Kujtim Allmeta.
Because the property abuses extend to land located in several villages of the former municipality of Bërxulle, the prosecutor's office of Tirana has made a list of persons who will be called as witnesses in this investigative process.
Among the persons who will be summoned in the future or have been summoned during this investigative period, are Arbër Abazaj, Dali Cejku, Tahir Cena, the latter's wife Fidarie Cena, Driton Cena, Florjan Cena, Ismail Cena, Agron Marku, Gazmend Cena, the brother of Ymerit, Sokol Marku, the latter's driver, Arjol Bici, the surveyor of the municipality of Bërxulle, Sakip Domi, the plumber of the municipality, Arben Tafa, a close friend of Ymer Marku, Vath Muka, Mersim Murati, who was a former employee of the municipality of Bërxulle .
Muharrem Muça and Xhaf Sefo, who have already passed away, are believed to have served as part of the group that served as a front to carry out the alienation and registration of properties in the Bërxulla area.
In parallel with the investigation to prove the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty" and "Forgery of documents", a property investigation has been launched against Ymer Mark and other persons, where up to this stage two Bëxulë municipality officials have been discovered undeclared apartments and it is expected that in the following days the prosecution will request their seizure in court./Oranews
