This Monday at 10:30, the 4 protesters arrested after the protest in front of the capital's City Hall last Friday appeared before the Tirana Court.
The police started the arrests immediately after the protest, measuring in the hours of midnight until Saturday morning at the residences of the protesters to make their arrests.
Kevin Vidrica, Bernard Metaliaj, Franc Kaloshi and Artan Muçmata are under arrest in prison for using pyrotechnics and resisting police officers.
In the courtroom, the protesters said they were mistreated by law enforcement.
One of them, Franc Kaloshi, said that they terrorized his family.
He said he is innocent and that he did not throw Molotov cocktails at law enforcement.
"They terrorized my family. They came at 7 in the morning to my apartment in Fier. My mother, my father, were present. I did not shoot Molotov cocktails or police officers. They also took away our belts, I am a democrat with contributions familiarly.
I protested peacefully. I was arrested in Fier, the whole area was surrounded to arrest me. I have never shot at a police officer in my life. I have respect for the state police uniform," he said.
