"I graduated from Cambridge and joined the SP for the vision",

Ilva Gjuzi is the vice president of the Assembly of the Socialist Party, elected to this position recently 1 year after her membership and engagement with this party.

She was invited to the show Opinion on TV Klan, where she showed that she completed her architecture studies at the University of Cambridge and returned to Albania, where she became involved in politics through the Socialist Party.

She says she chose the Socialists because of the vision they have shown as a political force.

But the other guests in the studio showed skepticism about the reasons why he joined the SP, as long as he did not mention political beliefs or political family heritage.

Belind Kelliçi, the political leader of the DP in Tirana, was also included in the discussion, who revealed that her father, who comes from the field of entrepreneurship, was the head of the administrative unit of Golem with the Socialist Party.

Ilva Gjuzi: I am the mother of 3 children, 10 years ago I returned to Albania after graduating from the University of Cambridge, I studied architecture. I returned to Albania because I believe that Albania is the best country in the world with all the flaws and evils it may have. I believe in work, working hours, kilometers. I am here because I believe that I have the capacity to contribute to my country. It is the moral duty of anyone who has the capacity to contribute to the country.

Blendi Fevziu: You are the elected vice president of the Socialist Assembly. Within 1 year, this catapult from membership within 1 year as vice president of the Assembly is common?

Ilva Gjuzi: It is not a catapult. I come from the private sector, I come from entrepreneurship, I am a person who knows the terrain, I know the working hours, and I know that if you don't work, you won't get anywhere. When the SP Academy opened, I said I'm going to apply.

Blendi Fevziu: Why didn't you go to DP, for example, to learn?

Ilva Gjuzi: We should ask the other party why it didn't attract me.

Blendi Fevziu: Were you open to both?

Ilva Gjuzi: Absolutely. I am a person who does not care who the party I join is. I look at the work done, I look at the vision, I look at the system and I say here. I don't need to be in politics. I have built my life without being in politics at all. I didn't knock on the PS door because I need a job.

Armand Shkullaku: Do you have a political conviction?

Ilva Gjuzi: I followed politics from abroad.

Blendi Fevziu: Did you have political emotions yourself?

Armand Shkullaku intervenes: Did you have a family tradition?

Ilva Gjuzi: I like people who stay true to themselves, although I can't share the same opinions with everyone. What SP has offered all these years, that is, it had a vision, a program, and I believe that Albania today is a better country than it was 11 years ago. I was even offered PD when I just arrived in Albania. I said, thank you, but I don't do it for you.

Belind Kelliçi: There is nothing wrong with having a family tradition, you must be transparent and say that your father was the head of the administrative unit of Golem with the Socialist Party.

Ilva Gjuzi: Yes, 8 months ago, that's true.

Belind Kelliçi: Then was he an official of the SP? There is nothing wrong, I do not deny it.

Ilva Gjuzi: I am a socialist democrat. My father is a person who has been an entrepreneur since 1990 and the position he has had for contribution. I am a socialist democrat. In my perception, this is the model of the Democrats of America or the Liberals of England.
