Journalist Elton Qyno, who covers the Prosecution and current affairs sector, was interrogated for about 8 hours on December 13 at SPAK premises.
In the 'Repolitix' show on Report Tv with journalist Denis Minga, Qyno said that the materials were related to the 'Golden Bullet' operation file, adding that they had no record of being 'classified secret'.
" They are materials related to the file of the 'Golden Bullet' operation, while another part was related to interceptions on SKY. I have not had any secret notes classified secret for up to 2 years. No one has these documents and I had no obligation not to publish them. I have published passages contained in these documents. I did not receive the template document, but I processed it knowing that they were also part of the file. The "Golden Bullet" has gone to trial. Those materials have been distributed to the defendants ," Qyno said.
Qyno said that he has published material, but elaborated. According to him, the prosecution described the material as sensitive, which was still under investigation. Qyno said he was kept locked in a room with the door locked as if he were a criminal.
" They wanted the source for 7-8 hours. They described it as a sensitive material that had not gone down to the court. It was a material of the conversations of one of the penitents of justice in the case of the Golden Bullet. When they compared the information that I had, they thought that this information was too secret and on the other hand they acted in the way they did. I was called for a simple acquaintance and ended up being prosecuted due to the disclosure of the investigative secret. I sit for 7-8 hours with the door closed. According to the journalist, he was asked to check his phone and personal belongings were taken from his apartment. According to Qynos, the prosecution wanted to know the source of the information, adding that it is already convinced that it should stop publishing the materials.
" Unrelated personal items were taken. In the house of a journalist they can find. They took all the materials home. They didn't tell me anything. I was informed that I had given very sensitive information and they are under investigation. I convinced myself that I should stop publishing. My communication has been very normal. The fact that they asked for the phones I here insisted. In October, we were given a humane and legal warning, but our phone was not searched and our pockets and phones were not searched. We are not locked up. He wanted the source ", said Qyno.
