The Electoral Reform Commission continued the debates between the majority and the opposition.

Damian Gjiknuri from the Socialist Party of Albania stated that the law could be passed with majority votes, but the aim is to reach consensus with the opposition and transparency in party financing.

On the global stage, the Munich Security Conference highlighted new geopolitical challenges, while the US increased its military presence in the Middle East with the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, amid tensions with Iran.
