The German Ambassador to Tirana, Karl Bergner, held a meeting with the head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, where the focus of discussions was the strengthening of the rule of law in Albania.
According to a statement from the German Embassy, the conversation focused on the need for further consolidation of justice institutions and the continuation of fundamental reforms in this sector. The statement emphasizes that the rule of law remains one of the basic criteria for Albania's progress in the European Union accession process.
Germany, as one of Albania's main partners on the path to the EU, has reconfirmed its political and financial support for this process. Official Berlin expresses its commitment to contribute to maintaining the progress achieved so far and to strengthening efforts in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
The meeting takes place at an important period for European integration, as Albanian authorities continue reforms and meeting the standards required by the European Union.
