The former senior police chief, Arben Hajdarmataj, has raised some questions regarding the dynamics of what is suspected to have been the suicide by jumping into the Buna river of a mother along with her 3 minor children.
Hajdarmataj said that he has doubts about the alleged jump from the Buna bridge, which according to him has iron railings that must be overcome if someone is going to jump into the river waters.
According to him, this casts doubt on the practical possibilities of a mother with 3 children to perform this act.
He also expressed his doubts, saying that it is not clear how far she was followed by the security cameras, since according to him there are bars and apartments close to Buna.
"In the assessment of the situation, I think there are many questions that we need to ask or have not clarified. If we discuss the case if a woman takes 3 children and jumps off a bridge. If it's the old Buna bridge, it has iron railings that you have to cross to do this act. This leaves me with a shadow of doubt that a mother has the practical ability to perform this grave act.
The second thing that leaves me with a shadow of doubt is that we do not know until what moment or length of the road the mother and the children were followed by the security cameras. The children may also have gone after their mother, but the little one would have a harder time than the girls. I do not rule out any kind of track.
There are bars and apartments near Buna. I don't know if the police have documented how far the deceased was spotted with the children", said Hajdarmataj in the studio of the show "Open".
