It is not yet known whether Berisha was inside his apartment at the time officers entered to inform him of the 'compulsion to appear' and 'passport blocking' measures, which were taken to prevent him from fleeing the country.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Berisha has stated that he does not recognize these measures, as according to his claims, he has immunity, which is guaranteed by the constitution as a member of the Albanian Parliament.

Further, the prosecution declares that in his capacity as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, active actions were taken in placing at the disposal of the citizen Jamarbër Malltezi, the husband of his daughter, various structures of the state administration for the realization of the process of privatization of the property. state.
