Vienna and Berlin join diaspora protests, Albanians demand Rama's removal

Albanians in Vienna joined the protests against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama, organizing a rally in the Austrian capital and demanding his resignation.

The demonstration in Austria comes in the wake of protests organized by the Albanian diaspora in various cities around the world, while in parallel, massive protests are taking place in Albania that have now entered their 15th consecutive day.

For two weeks, protests have not stopped either inside or outside the country, reflecting the mobilization of Albanians both at home and in the diaspora. Meanwhile, today the 15th protest is being held in Tirana, where immigrants from different countries are expected to join. The organizers have announced that the protests will continue until their demands are met.

Berlin also joined the wave of protests organized by Albanians in the diaspora against the government on Sunday. Dozens of Albanians gathered in the German capital, demanding the resignation of the head of government and changes in the country's leadership.

During the rally, protesters held banners with messages against the government, while the chant that dominated the protest was: "Rama, go away, your end has come."

Participants expressed their dissatisfaction with political developments in Albania and demanded the guarantee of free and fair elections.

The rally in Berlin follows protests held by Albanians in various countries around the world, indicating the expansion of diaspora mobilization against the Albanian government.
