The Tirana court has imprisoned Ilir Brahimi and Edison Haxhiu, who are accused of being perpetrators of the murder of Gentjan Bejtja in Larushk.
Ilir Beqaraj alias Brahimi, alias Mançellari, and Edison Haxhiu, who were arrested yesterday, are the two suspects as perpetrators of the murder inside the apartment of former policeman Gentjan Bejtja, on the evening of March 15 in Larushk, Fushë-Kruja.
The police managed to clarify the movement of the perpetrators after the moment they burned the car of the crime. Ilir Beqaraj is suspected of being one of the perpetrators who participated in the execution, while Edison Haxhiu is accused of using the 'Golf' type vehicle for the perpetrators to leave Fushë Kruja.
According to the dynamics of the event, the perpetrators approached Bejtja's apartment and executed him with a Kalashnikov volley. Immediately after the murder, they left with a 'Land Rover' type vehicle towards the Larushk - Thumane axis and burned the car in the village of Hasan.
Then they allegedly left in the direction of Bubq village in Krujë with the 'Golf' type vehicle, whose owner, Edison Haxhiu, was arrested by the police.
The breakdown of the movement of the perpetrators has been identified by security cameras. Initially, it is suspected that four people participated in this assassination attempt, as four firearms were also found inside the vehicle that was found burnt.
Referring to investigative sources, there are doubts that Ilir Beqaraj may have been paid for the murder of Gentian Bejtja. There are also suspicions that Beqarja is involved in drug trafficking.
