The shocking murder of Liridona Murseli, who was executed by order of her husband, has aroused many reactions in the public opinion.
A march-protest will take place in Tirana regarding this event. The march will start on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. from the Ministry of the Interior to the Embassy of Kosovo in Tirana.
We recall that on the evening of November 29, Liridona Murseli, the 33-year-old wife of Naim Murseli, the former advisor of Behgjet Pacolli, was killed after what was initially investigated as a robbery.
This is because Naim Murseli, who was with his wife in the car, confessed to the police that evening.
He told the investigators that he was with his wife and children in the car, when suddenly some robbers ambushed them in another vehicle and robbed them. Murseli told the investigators that the robbers first demanded their valuables, taking money and phones.
Murseli further stated that he was able to remove the children from the car, but his wife remained there, who unfortunately was shot dead. His testimony has fueled strong suspicions that he may have been involved in his wife's murder.
After the arrest of the victim's husband, Naim Murseli, and the murderer of Liridona, Granit Plava, and their analysis before the investigative team, it seems that the arrest of Murseli's nephew has also become possible. The same are suspected to have cooperated in the murder of the deceased.
It is worth noting that a few minutes after the arrest, Liridona's husband admitted that he ordered the murder of his wife to Granit Plava for an amount of 30,000 euros. Of which 15,000, Naim had handed over to the killers, while he had promised to give the rest later.
