Lawyer Arbër Hoxha spoke about the serious incident in Peqin prison where a prisoner killed another prisoner inside the prison and injured another. Hoxha said that it is the most serious event since the creation of the Albanian state

Of course, if the legal and procedural provisions of the law on the execution of prison sentences for prisoners and detainees had been respected, such an event could have been avoided.

Today, the court is expected to grant the security measure to him and 12 other detainees, guards and civilians, who allegedly collaborated with Sokol to introduce the weapon into the prison premises. The director of Peqin prison, Kamer Hoxha, was also arrested.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan is investigating the murder-for-hire track, but Sokol Mjaçaj has stated that there were conflicts with the victim.
According to him, Arben Lleshi did not accept him in his sector, so the conflict between them has degraded into murder. But according to the prosecution, his testimony is an alibi and the main clue remains the murder for hire. Regarding the weapon, he stated that he got it about 20 days ago from the entrance, that is, by land.
