Mirel Mërtiri, the main architect of the three incinerators that devoured millions and millions of euros in a TV interview did not accept any charges brought against him.

Among other things, Mërtiri has answered why the incinerator of Elbasani and Fieri is not working.

According to him, the reason why these two incinerators do not work is that they were prevented by the Minister of Energy, Belinda Balluku.

"You worry about my answer and you don't worry that 130 million euros were taken. Let me say it. The waste processing and treatment plant in Tirana, as in Elbasan and Fier, are complex structures, which include the water treatment plant, the waste disposal plant, the waste treatment plant with west-energy. These are contractual structures", said Mërtiri, among other things.
