The analyst Kreshnik Spahiu has reacted after the election as the MEP of the political force in power in Greece, of Fredi Beleri, who is behind bars in the prison of Fier, where he is serving the sentence of Albanian justice for buying and selling votes.
Through a reaction on Facebook, Spahiu writes that the CEC must urgently announce early elections in Himara because Beleri has a conflict of interest and cannot be elected in two bodies at the same time.
Fredi Beleri was elected MEP. The CEC must urgently announce early elections in Himarë because Fredi Beleri has a conflict of interest and cannot be elected to two bodies at the same time.
Beleri cannot be a Member of the European Parliament and Mayor of Himarë (Constitution of Albania)
Legally, the elections should have been announced a month ago, since Mikotakis made the list of MEPs official", writes Spahiu.
