The fire situation in Fushë-Arrëz has stabilized. Air intervention has reduced the intensity of the flames in Fushë-Arrëz, but according to the Ministry of Defense, there are still active fires.
Air Force helicopters and those from the United Arab Emirates assisted our forces in bringing the flames under control.
"Helicopters from the Air Force and those from the United Arab Emirates dominated the skies and assisted forces on the ground to bring the flames under control. The heroes of the sky significantly reduced the intensity of the fires, helping residents and nature in the area covered in green ," the Ministry of Defense announced.
However, there are still three active fires. In addition to the air intervention, 12 firefighters with 2 fire engines, 6 police officers with 2 vehicles, 40 municipal forces, 13 forest service forces and 80 military forces have been engaged in the operation.
