Silvio Berlusconi's children, heirs to the fortune of the former Italian prime minister who died in June, will stop the monthly financial assistance the tycoon gave to 20 of the young women who attended his parties, known as "Bunga Bunga", in his residence in Arcore, near Milan.
According to "Corriere della Sera", in addition to this, the girls will also lose the free apartments that Berlusconi had given them.
A real estate agency authorized by the heirs of the former Italian president has sent a letter to the girls who participated in the famous parties in Arcore, announcing the termination of these benefits "due to death".
But in addition to having to return the apartments before December 31, the girls of Via Olgettinas, in Milan as the Italian press calls them, also lose the monthly payment of 2,500 euros given by Berlusconi in all previous years.
It was Berlusconi himself who admitted in 2013 in one of the sessions of the process in which he was tried for bribery of witnesses in the Ruby case, that he had given each of the girls 2,500 euros per month for dinners and parties of "Bunga Bunga".
According to the report of "Corriere della Sera", it is estimated that since March 2012, Berlusconi had paid almost 11 million euros for the girls.
Last September, the five children of Silvio Berlusconi reached an agreement to divide the inheritance of the Italian politician and businessman, who passed away last June, according to reports in the Italian press.
As the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero wrote, Berlusconi's eldest daughter, Marina, and his eldest son, Piersilvio, in accordance with their father's wishes, receive 60% of his entire fortune. The three youngest children, Eleonora, Barbara and Luigi, who "Mr. Tivi" had received from the marriage with Veronica Lario, they agreed to receive the remaining 40%.
