During a press conference at Joint Base Andrews on March 14, 2025, President Donald Trump faced an unexpected moment when a reporter accidentally hit him in the face with a boom microphone.
The microphone with its furry cover, often called a "dead cat," touched Trump's lips, causing him to close his eyes for a moment and sway back slightly.
After processing the situation, Trump raised his eyebrows and made a humorous comment: "She just became famous tonight. She just became big news!" He then laughed and asked someone off-camera, "Did you see that?"
Although the incident was unexpected, he continued to answer reporters' questions before boarding Air Force One. The identity of the journalist and her media outlet remain unclear.
