The relative of Hamish Harding, one of the five people aboard the now-destroyed submarine 'Titan', which has been missing since June 18, has called for a full investigation into the Titan explosion.
In an interview with the BBC, she demanded that the inquiry find out what safety checks had been carried out before the tragedy.
"It needs to be fully investigated, to see what went wrong, why it happened, why they didn't survive. Harding would have had a birthday tomorrow. He would be 59 years old. I would have texted her or tried to call her to wish her a happy birthday. When I read that they had heard crashing noises, I felt hopeful that maybe it was coming from the diver. But yesterday was the worst when I heard that he didn't make it, that they all died," said Cosnett.
The submarine exploded from the pressure of the water, thus causing the end to be tragic for the 5 passengers who wanted to see the wreckage of the Titanic up close.
We recall that inside the submarine were the British explorer, Hamish Harding, the French submarine expert, Paul-Henri Nargeolet, the Pakistani-British businessman, Shahzada Dawood and his son, Suleman, and the executive director of the company OceanGate that offers the expedition with the Titan submarine, Stockton Rush.
