During talks with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, Donald Trump's team sent supporters an email asking for donations, titled: "TRUMP IN ALASKA! WITH PUTIN!" In the message, Sky News and NBC reported, the president called the meeting "of great importance to the world" and accused Democrats of wanting it to fail. "Nobody in the world knows how to do business like me!" he wrote, announcing the launch of the "Trump Blitz" and inviting every "patriot" to contribute $10 before the "critical deadline" of midnight.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the summit, groups of supporters gathered near the talks site in Anchorage, Alaska, to show their support for the president on a day he himself called "decisive."
