Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend the ceasefire agreement by two days, according to statements by Egyptian security sources in Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper and reported by Israeli media Haaretz.
Hamas also announced that 30 people will be released from Israeli prisons this evening in exchange for about 10 hostages.
The list consists of 15 women and 15 children.
"Hamas announces to the struggling sons of our Palestinian people the list of male and female prisoners included in today's release, Tuesday, the fifth day of the exchange agreement," it said in a statement.
The Israeli hostages were released around 18:00 but there is still no information on what time the Palestinian prisoners will be released.
