Two dead and several injured in Volkovo, Skopje after a shooting incident this morning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirms.
Unofficially, the incident occurred after a tenant shot the owner of the house where he lived several times and injured his minor son.
"Around 09:00, the Skopje Police Station received a report that there had been gunfire in the village of Volkovë in the Skopje region, in which several people were injured. Police officers arrived at the scene and it was determined that RC and MN had died from their injuries at the scene. An emergency doctor confirmed their death. A minor was also injured and was transported for treatment to the "Mother Teresa" Clinical Complex. MN is the possible perpetrator of the murder," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Meanwhile, the Traumatology Clinic says that the injured person's condition is stable.
"A patient injured by a gunshot has been admitted. The necessary checks are currently being carried out. The general condition is stable. After the checks, the patient will safely continue treatment at the Plastic Surgery Clinic," stated Marija Sërceva, Director of the Traumatology Clinic.
On the other hand, police forces are still on the streets of Volkovo, while the police are conducting an investigation at the scene.
