
The Italian prosecution has requested life imprisonment for two Albanians in Italy as they are suspected of being involved in the murder of the architect Roberto Mottura, in his villa in Piossasco.
Foreign media report that Albanians Emirjan Margjini and Mergim Lazri, aged 32 and 26, have been left in prison after they killed Mottura while they had entered his house to steal.
Prosecutors Valentina Sellaroli and Marco Sanini devoted part of the indictment to cell phone analysis to reconstruct the movements of the defendants.
They also focused on the testimony of Lazri's girlfriend at the time, who told the courtroom how the man, on June 9, had told her "we have to go back down (to Santa Maria Capua Vetere, in Campania) because something bad happened.
Architect Roberto Mottura was shot dead with a pistol in his apartment in Turin on June 9, 2021. Mottura was killed with a .22 caliber pistol. He was shot during an attempted robbery at his villa. Everything happened before the eyes of his son and his wife.
