The balance of victims of the earthquake that hit Morocco yesterday evening has increased alarmingly.
Morocco's state television talks about a figure of 820 people who have lost their lives.

The worst damage is in Marrakesh and villages in the Atlas Mountains. Many people are believed to be under the rubble and rescue operations are ongoing.
Many people in the city of Marrakesh spent the night outside for fear of aftershocks.
The US Geological Survey reports that it registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 on the Richter scale.
