Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the NATO countries are persistently promoting the alliance's expansion policy and continue "provocative" exercises near the borders of Belarus.
"NATO countries are persistently promoting their expansion policy, increasing their military presence around Belarus and constantly conducting provocative exercises on our borders," he said.
According to him, NATO justifies its actions with some threats that are claimed to come from the territory of Belarus.
"The leaders of Poland and the Baltic states accuse Belarus of some mythical aggressive intentions," Lukashenko said.
