The UK Home Office has earmarked £700 million to manage the influx of dinghy migrants by 2030.

A Home Office spokesman said it would be inappropriate to comment on an ongoing procurement project. But on the other hand, information published on the government's contracts website shows that the Home Office wants at least one major partner to help with the 2 big projects for immigrants until at least 2030.

The first facility is the UK Border Force's rescue and arrivals base at the ports of Dover, known as Western Jet Foil. Under this objective, rescued migrants are first brought ashore, registered and given medical treatment.

As for the second part of the contract covering the largest and most criticized centre, Manston, which was designed to accommodate up to 1,600 migrants, officials are determining where to house them.

“The purpose of the Landing and Solas Center at Western Jet Foil and the National Reception Center at Manston is to register and process individuals arriving in the UK by barge from across the English Channel. The purpose of these centers is to provide a safe environment while allowing the Border Force to process arrivals with dignity and respect," the website states.

BBC News writes that the Home Secretary, James Cleverly, has traveled to Rwanda to sign a new agreement on the management of migrants.
