New details are emerging about the Graz serial killer, who killed 11 people and injured 12 others. 10 of the victims died at the scene, while a teacher who was transported to the hospital with injuries died several hours later.

Two photos of the 21-year-old perpetrator of the attack on a school in Austria, named Arthur A., were made public. He came from a suburb of Graz.

In the published photos, he holds a small cat in front of him, while in the other he poses as a typical teenager.

It is inconceivable that such a person would later cause a massacre.

Arthur A. lived with his single mother, also Austrian, in Kalsdorf near Graz. His father is a native Armenian.

At the same time, police confirmed that a note and a "non-functional" bomb were found at the home of the perpetrator, who committed suicide in one of the school's toilets after the attack.

"I'm sorry for what I'm about to do"

In the farewell video that the school shooter sent to his mother via cellphone shortly before the attack, he apologized for "what he was about to do." He then thanked his mother for her "care."

According to Austrian police officers, the mother opened the video 24 minutes after her son had started it, while he had committed the massacre and committed suicide.

In a note found after his suicide, Arthur A. on the one hand blamed the school for the bullying he suffered years ago, wanting to justify the crime, and on the other hand expressed concerns about his cat, asking that it be cared for as much as possible.

One of the 21-year-old's victims was a 14-year-old, while the other 9 were between 15 and 17 years old. A 59-year-old teacher, who was among the injured, also became a victim.

At the same time, it was discovered that Arthur A. had a firearms permit. However, this is simply a document that allows the purchase and possession, but not the carrying, of category B firearms. His gun must have been transported empty in a closed suitcase with the sole purpose of using it at the shooting ranges. The perpetrator himself probably used a pistol and a shotgun at the crime scene.

A total of 6 patients are still hospitalized at LKH University Hospital. Four of them are still hospitalized in the intensive care unit and two have already been transferred to the general ward.

One person, who was in critical condition on Tuesday, is now in stable condition, along with others.
