A nearly 24-meter-tall replica of the Statue of Liberty collapsed during a severe storm in the Brazilian city of Guaiba on Monday afternoon.
No injuries were reported, according to local authorities and the company that built the monument.
Strong winds hit the statue, which was located in the parking lot of a large shopping mall.
Videos show the tall statue swaying under the force of the wind before collapsing and breaking. The statue's head was shattered into pieces after the impact.
Only the upper part, about 24 meters high, was affected by the fall, while the 11-meter-high pedestal remained intact, according to company representatives.
