A senior UN official has announced that 20 more trucks with humanitarian aid will arrive in Gaza today. Supplies will enter the region from Egypt.
We recall that, on Saturday, 20 trucks entered Gaza as part of the first aid mission on the ground since Israel imposed a total siege.
Israel then allowed a second convoy of 15 trucks to enter Gaza on Sunday. A third small aid convoy from Egypt also arrived on Monday.
They entered from Egypt through the Rafah crossing, the only route to Gaza that is not controlled by Israel.
