British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet in Downing Street this afternoon.
Starmer will gather European leaders in Downing Street tomorrow, with the aim of planning how to move towards a future peace deal in Ukraine.
The Prime Minister believes that such an agreement would need to include the US.
But hopes for unity between European nations and America over the future of Ukraine have been shattered by the outburst between Trump and the Ukrainian leader.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he is "grateful" to the US, but he wants the nation to "stand more firmly" on Ukraine's side in a statement on X.
He says he is grateful to Donald Trump and the US Congress for their support, adding that America's aid has been "vital in helping us survive".
Touching on his “tough dialogue” with Trump, he says: “We need to be honest and direct with each other to truly understand our shared goals.
"It is crucial for us to have the support of President Trump," he said.
