A heavily tattooed beauty influencer who poses nude online and admires shamans (natural healers) has been allowed to run against Vladimir Putin in Russia's presidential election.
Rada Russkikh, 39 years old, who is obsessed with aesthetic interventions, has been called "the horror candidate" by the local media. Whereas, she admits that she is not interested in taking the post from Putin, but she does this to raise awareness about the manipulation of elections in general, writes the British Metro network.
She says she wants to raise awareness about the fact that elections tend to make dictators look normal or competent.
Russkikh's main criticism of Putin is his management of the economy, which has been worsened by the war in Ukraine.
"I understand why they complain a lot about Russians, because we bring to the world not only beautiful women and makeup artists. We can no longer hide behind Russian literature or the heroics of the past", she said, further mentioning her passion for cosmetic surgery, proudly showing that she has performed 16 surgeries.
The model goes on to reveal that she admires natural healers, known as shamans, as she met famous ritual healer couple Magua and Tina in Mexico.
She says that the experience was very spiritual at first, but strangely afterwards the pair "heard voices in their heads telling them to kill the guest", so she barely managed to get away and escape.
Russkikh has around 700,000 followers on social media and her name has already been accepted by the electoral commission as a candidate.

Putin's top contender is Alexei Navalny, who has been sentenced to another 19 years in prison, and another Kremlin foe, Vladimir Kara-Murza, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Another potential opposition candidate, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, was jailed on dubious charges, and has now fled to Britain.
Another speculated candidate was Wagner's mercenary Yevguney Prigozhin, but he died in a suspicious air crash in August 2023.
Many small candidates who are registering to run against Putin are just list names that are not expected to get 10% of the vote./Metro
