US President Joe Biden has attacked his rival Donald Trump on the eve of the presidential elections in 2024.
At his first election rally in Valley Forge, near Philadelphia, the head of the White House compared the rhetoric used by his predecessor to that of Nazi Germany.
“Donald Trump's campaign is all about him; not for America, not for you. He calls the opponents; parasites. Talk about poisoning America's blood. Using the same language of Nazi Germany," said the American president.
Biden described Trump's actions as the most serious violations by a sitting president in American history. According to him, the former president's campaign team is obsessed with the past and not the future. Recalling the January 6 riots in the Capitol, exactly on the 3rd anniversary of the event, Biden directly blamed the rival, calling it a threat to democracy.
"I think he should not be allowed to run. He was trying to overthrow the government. He told the crowd to fight like hell. And then hell prevailed", he said.
In his speech in Pennsylvania, Biden pledged to advance the sacred duty of protecting and preserving American democracy.
