While Prime Minister Edi Rama was waiting for the leaders of the EU and the region at the start of the Berlin Process Summit, what stood out was Rama's "cold" greeting with his Serbian counterpart, Ana Brnabič.
The latter told the Serbian media that she could not behave differently with a leader who demands that her country be sanctioned.
As Serbian media reports, Brnabic stated today from Tirana that he does not understand why Prime Minister Edi Rama has requested sanctions against Serbia, judging that such actions are not in line with "good relations between the two neighboring countries."
"We want the best possible relations with Albania, as well as with everyone in the region. You can never be just a politician, sometimes you are also a human being. That's not how I feel. I'm not happy. I don't know why he acted like that, and it doesn't make any sense as it is not in line with our good neighborly relations nor with what we are doing with the Open Balkans Initiative", the Serbian Prime Minister is reported to have said .
Serbian media also reported earlier that it was not true that Prime Minister Ana Brnabic was not present in the family photo. However, the photos published on the official website of the European Council show the opposite.
