Putin is 'betrayed' by his own, Russian soldiers turn into

Putin's own officers are believed to have supplied Ukraine with the necessary information that allowed it to launch an attack that wiped out the headquarters of Russia's Black Sea fleet.

The deadly missile attack in Sevastopol injured hundreds and killed 34 soldiers, including Admiral Viktor Sokolov, 61, Putin's handpicked commander of Russia's now-defunct Black Sea Fleet.

The alleged betrayal by Putin's own soldiers came as Admiral Sokolov was meeting with other commanders for a war planning session.

The anti-Putin partisan group ATESH told "Kyiv Post" that they paid soldiers who provided the military information that led to the deadly attack in the Black Sea. They said the naval officers who leaked information to them believe that the tyrant Putin is "waging a criminal war and that it must be stopped".

" Payment for information alone does not force the armed forces of the Russian Federation to go against the Russian authorities. The financial reward only helps them to decide on cooperation with the ATESH movement, it serves as an additional incentive," they said .

The Crimean partisan group declined to say how much the Russian officers were paid, but revealed that "it was enough to cover the risks to the officers and their families."

On Friday, footage showed black smoke billowing from the building in Crimea, which tyrant Putin illegally annexed in 2014, following a missile attack. Moscow imposed a news blackout after Friday's attack, a move that showed the fallout had been severe.

Also among those wounded in the Storm Shadow missile attack were Russian warlords, Chief of Staff Colonel General Alexander Romanchuk and Lieutenant General Oleg Tsekov.

A second strike was then launched on Saturday - with a video showing the moment a UK-supplied missile hit the now-burning building in Sevastopol.

Intelligence from the partisan group was also key to the destruction of the large landing craft in Minsk and the damage to the submarine Rostov-on-Don earlier this month in Sevastopol.

Despite the fact that Russia had not acknowledged the existence of the partisan group, ATESH claimed: "The Russian army is well aware of the existence of the partisan movement and is throwing all its forces and means to suppress it and identify our agents. The growing resistance between Crimea greatly confuses the Russians."

Partisan groups are confident that they will be able to carry out further subversive acts against Putin's forces.

" We have ears and eyes inside and outside, so we're the first to hear and see what's going on out there ," they concluded.
