Don't kill the protest.

The protest gained the trust of the citizens because it was born free. If it falls into the hands of the hounds of old politics, it will lose the reason why it was born...

The protest, which has already been going on for a month, was expected, and it was even dialectical that it would have, a metamorphosis of its action and development of activity.

The large civic movement, although triggered by the brutal intervention of private guards in Zvërnec against citizens, clearly seems not to have been a spontaneous reaction.

It was an organized initiative.

Not just from one factor, but from several different factors, which have long been prepared to confront Edi Rama's government.

These factors, although not publicly foregrounded, are clearly distinguishable.

First and foremost are international partners, especially Germany, which has supported and continues to support every civil society initiative that opposes Edi Rama's government.

Berlin has used its political and institutional influence to support civil society organizations, encouraging the response and organization of opposition movements.

Likewise, his influence has been felt in diplomacy, the media, and other institutions.

However, this factor, as important as it is, cannot build the political organization of the protest.

He cannot transform it himself into a political movement that will produce major change in the country.

This is the duty of Albanian factors.

And they are numerous.

With different backgrounds, beliefs and compositions.

But they all agree on one point:

The departure of Edi Rama.

However, as the days passed, another development occurred.

In the first phase of the protest, groups that identify with political Islam and Erdogan's line were activated, attempting to orient the protest towards their traditional agenda against Israel.

But this line faded very quickly.

Mainly as a result of the influence of international factors, who demand that the protest maintain a democratic, civic and clearly Western profile.

A movement that, in addition to the removal of Edi Rama, also aims to produce a new political opposition.

A model similar to that seen in Hungary, where a new alternative was born that challenged the traditional establishment.

It is precisely for this reason, according to this interpretation, that the so-called "Plan B" has come into play.

A plan in which Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta have taken an active role.

The latter is considered a supporter of several groups present at the protest, which are linked to certain media and financial circles.

At this stage, according to this perspective, Berisha and Meta have decided to directly enter the protest.

Not only by bringing some people close to the organization into leadership positions, but also by activating their most militant contingents, accustomed to strong political clashes.

It was precisely this intervention that damaged the moral superiority that the protest had gained during the first weeks.

Because she was an equal threat to both Edi Rama and Sali Berisha.

Berisha's entry onto the scene is a way to show international partners that no political alternative can be built without him.

A kind of negotiation of his style.

But the question that arises is:

Could international partners be blackmailed by this move?

In this context, the latest alert from the American Embassy regarding the protests is also read, which signaled the risk of violent episodes.

A development that could be followed by other political or diplomatic reactions in the coming days.

Because the battle for the direction of the protest has just entered its most complicated phase./ Pamphlet
