A tragic accident has occurred in Italy, after a minor girl lost her life in the crash of a military helicopter.
An Italian military aeronautics plane has crashed at Caselle airport in Piedmont. The members of a family were driving nearby, and as a result, a 5-year-old girl died, while her 9-year-old brother and parents were taken to the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin with multiple burns.
The crash happened during tests for the air force's centennial parade planned for Sunday. From the first images circulating online, the Frecce Tricolori aircraft slowly loses altitude and the pilot is seen opening the parachute and exiting the vehicle.
The group of ten planes appears divided into two formations of 5, from which one of them breaks away and collides. The fireball appears to continue towards farms in the municipality of San Francesco al Campo.
