Vucic openly asked Orbani, with whom he meets more regularly than ever, to influence the decisions of the European Union against him and his government...
The armed conflict in Banjska seriously shook the relations between the European Union and Serbia, and this is particularly evident in the example of some EU members who demand that the incident be fully investigated.
Some members go so far as to call for punitive measures against Serbia. But the saving grace could be Hungary, i.e. Prime Minister Viktor Orban, whom Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić asked in the last meeting, as "Nova" learns, to react if possible sanctions against Serbia and against him personally.
Hungary, the butler to the rescue
Five days after the armed conflict in Banjska, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
On the sidelines of the meeting regarding the initiative to establish strategic security in the field of energy, water supply, food industry and human resources, the President of Serbia asked his Hungarian friend to use the right of veto and prevent the EU from punish Serbia.
According to "Nova.rs", Vucic used this meeting in Belgrade to minimize the consequences of the events in Kosovo at the end of September.
He openly asked Orban, with whom he meets more regularly than ever, to influence the decisions of the European Union if they are directed against him and his government. Specifically, Vucic mentioned to Orbani that he knows that there is talk of possible measures against Serbia, that several meetings have already been organized on that occasion and that he expects Hungary to react and veto if it is voted on. The Prime Minister of Hungary replied that his country does not agree with the policy of sanctions and that therefore he will certainly be against such a decision ", explains the source of "Nova.rs". / Pamphlet
