Fatos Nano, upon learning of Edi Rama's candidacy for the chairman of the Socialist Party in 2005, made a public call not to vote for him, as Rama said that Nano will destroy the SP's edifice.
It seemed like an angry, angry or emotional statement. And in the congress of October 2005, a good part of the delegates voted for Edi Rama because they had sympathy for his charisma and of course also for the way he faced Sali Berisha.
In reality, Fatos Nano knew that Edi Rama would play hard, it was not a matter of entertaining the Volonians and bringing in the scrappers as Ilir Meta had done, or the strengthening of the lab lobby that Gramoz Ruçi had supported.
Nano knew exactly the genesis of the pact with Edi Rama, who did not enter SP politics alone, but together with Sorros.
Rama, without being a political person at all, brought them before the Socialist Party to finance the 1997 campaign, while he financed with a large amount through Soros, one of the most powerful opposition media to Sali Berisha.
And precisely, starting from this power of Rama, the Prime Minister refused George Soros the opening of a University in Tirana, which the tycoon then established in Hungary, as the second university after Belevograd in Bulgaria.
Thanks to this policy, Nano had problems finding open doors in Washington. Even the problems started from the beginning with the American ambassador in Tirana, Mariza Lino.
Therefore, in April 1998, Nano approached Edi Rama in his government, fully aware that the latter and the group that supported him would cause him trouble. That started only 2 years later, when Edi Rama, together with Ilir Meta, who made him an ally, asked for the municipality of Tirana. In his campaign for mayor, Edi Rama was almost not supported at all by the staff of the Socialist Party of Tirana.
The head of the branch, Musa Ulqini, was simply dealing with voter lists and polling station commissioners. The enumerators were chosen by Edi Rama, who for the first time had a foreign staff, headed by an American-Jew, who also dealt with campaign strategies in his country. The line that Rama also followed at the head of the municipality of Tirana, where he did not hire any person who was part of the Socialist Party of Tirana. All were his personal and clans choices. And in the media, which he had chosen to be playful, which are not coincidentally the same ones that are part of the establishment today, he spread the message that Edi Rama is not part of the SP, but of "Edi Rama's party". So when he got the Socialist Party, Rama immediately started to form the party of Edi Rama. It wasn't the whole operation but the attack was strong. By means of the so-called "one member one vote, he tried" to immediately take over the party structures.
Mimi led Kodheli to Tirana, but in the end the members voted for Professor Besnik Baren. Voting that was interrupted several times with attempts at manipulation but that did not succeed. Then he slowly used the theory of co-optation or alliance with different parts and lobbies that had supported him. He approached Ben Blushi and then drove him away by seducing Gramoz Ruçi, as he saw Blushi as a greater danger than the pasha of the south.
After coming to power, he tried hard with Koço Kokëdhima to take power from Ruçi, but in the end, he sold his close friend because he could not get rid of Gramoz Ruçi, who even to this day is in control of The First Operative Zone, which is actually the base of the ALP and the Socialist Party. Otherwise, he brought many politicians to the head of the SP and to high positions, from Saimir Tahiri, Ditmir Bushati, Arben Ahmetaj, Taulant Balla, Damian Gjiknuri, Erion Veliaj, Belinda Balluku, Blendi Çuçi or Mirela Kumbaro. He has put most of them aside and is likely to do the same with the others that are left. Because everyone, Rama, seems to have simply had mechanisms to achieve the final goal, the total war, to make the Socialist Party, a party that has no soul, no basis, but only a head that uses the displacement theory for the whole part . The warning given in the congress that he leaves only when he is not of this world was the final word to see what would be the reaction of the people of the party.
Those who don't have the time and opportunity to leave, at least that's what Edi Rama thinks. Since time is always there, the sooner they leave the freer they will be. Leave Bablok alone with his people and schemes, and declare war on him. Finally, better one more term with Rama, or a strong season of battle to remove him and produce a new political class. This should really be the goal of everyone that Edi Rama humiliated. Let them think of a Socialist Party completely different from Rama, without spiropal and muzhaq, but a normal party of people who, even though they fight, discuss. And what is most important, they also choose. For this, they should call the fathers of the party, from Fatos Nano and others, if they have time, not to fight, but to say something. That the rest of the war is done by the SPAK of the USA./ Pamphlet
