Two fires were recorded on Monday afternoon in Novosela, Vlora, and in the village of Kutalli, in the Dimal Municipality of the Berat district, mobilizing fire services to deal with the situation.
In Novosela, the fire has engulfed an area of bushes, herbs and olive trees. According to information from the scene, the flames have approached the residential area, endangering homes. A fire engine has been dispatched to extinguish the fire, while another is engaged in the active fire to limit the spread of the flames.
Meanwhile, in the village of Kutalli in the Dimal Municipality, a large-scale fire engulfed a hill with olive trees and trees. The fire services of Berat, Kuçova and Dimal were involved in the operation, and managed to bring the fire under control and are continuing to work to completely extinguish the fire.
According to sources on the ground, the rapid spread of the flames in Dimal was favored by wind and high temperatures, while the preliminary damage is considered extensive.
