The "Building Construction" company, which is the holder of the mining permit for the search and discovery of gold ore, in Babje i Librazhdi, has advanced the procedures for the equipment with the necessary permits for the start of excavations.
This company has applied to the National Environment Agency, to be provided with the environmental permit, which is a prerequisite for carrying out geological - discovery works.
As specified in the documents filed in KTA, the purpose of the project is to show the scheme of research - discovery of the gold mineral in Babje i Librazhdi, the assessment of the reserves of this mineral, as well as the drafting of a final report on the technical possibilities of using the this mine.
The project area is located in an uninhabited area, while Babja is the nearest village. The most distant village is Spathari, located about 1.5 kilometers north-northeast of the facility. The mining permit for the exploration and discovery of this precious mineral was granted in November 2022, following a competitive procedure announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
In the announcement announcing the winner, it was specified that the total value of the investment will reach 40.12 million ALL. This is the first permit that has been granted for the discovery of this mineral, after many years./Scan
