"Free professions, in danger!", Tabaku: They want to tax them with 40%

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, reacted to the tax on free professions and stated that free professions are in danger.

In a post on social networks, Tabaku writes that while the battle continues to overturn the Self-Employed Tax Law, the Tax Directorate has launched an instruction that forces self-employed professionals to pay up to 50% of their profit.

According to Tabakur, this is a completely illegal instruction.

“The nature of this instruction alone would suffice to meet exactly the face, nature, and system of this government; overtaxation of the middle class and the use of excessive taxes for this class in order to pay the millions of arbitration, golden roads, concessions of corrupt mayors or the incinerator.

The brutality with which the money of sweat and labor is taken from the pockets of Albanians, the arrogance in the treatment of those who work, is as if they think they are inviolable. That's why time doesn't wait!", wrote Tabaku

Free professions in danger!

An unjust system is always built upon laws that create injustice and maintained by guidelines that further deepen this injustice.

While the DP parliamentary group and several other interest groups have submitted to the Constitutional Court a lawsuit to overturn the Self-Employed Tax Law and also suspend it until a court decision, the Tax Directorate has launched an instruction No. 26 that forces freelancers to pay up to 40% or even 50% of their earnings with the promise that the government will refund them if they have spent less.

The instruction in question is completely illegal and in relation to the Tax Law on Free Professionals that actually guarantees these professionals that 30% of the expenses will be recognized. However, the injustice and illegality of this instruction is also another proof in our hands since it accurately conveys the nature of government and law; unfairness and lack of predictability.

The nature of this instruction alone would suffice to meet exactly the face, nature, and system of this government; overtaxation of the middle class and the use of excessive taxes for this class in order to pay the millions of arbitration, golden roads, concessions of corrupt mayors or the incinerator.

The brutality with which the money of sweat and labor is taken from the pockets of Albanians, the arrogance in the treatment of those who work, is as if they think they are inviolable. Therefore, time does not wait!
