Fully 48.1% of Albanian citizens do not live in Albania.
From the official table of the CEC for the distribution of parliamentary mandates according to districts, it results that in the Register of Civil Status there are almost 4.63 million Albanian citizens.
On the other hand, in the last Census there were 2.4 million inhabitants inside Albania. So, fully 48.1% of Albanian citizens do not live in Albania.
And which counties have the biggest deficits?
Crossing the data of the CEC with those of the Census (see the table below), it turns out that Vlorë District has the biggest deficit (62.3%), followed by Gjirokastër District (58%) and Shkodër District (59.95%).
On the other hand, Dibër District has the smallest deficit (37.1%), followed by Berat District (37.6%) and Tirana District (37.8%).
