
Is it worth it for the bodies of justice, or even a foreign ambassador, to take and give "xevap" to the man, who would have been declared a "saint of freedom" if he had withdrawn, in order not to returned to active politics?
At a time when the country is going through hot summer days, with temperatures above 40 degrees, at a time when Albanians have 1001 worries, problems, they are dealing with harvests, crops, matura exams, average grades, at a time when the world if you "get" from the wars in Europe and elsewhere, is it worth dealing with a scrappy party?
Is it worth dealing with a "suicidal" political force, which does not care about the problems of Albanians, the increase of salaries and pensions, the country's integration into the EU, order and security for citizens? Is it worth it for the interests of a handful of people, or of a single person, to go out in the middle of Tirana and in the heat of over 40 degrees, burn tires, throw Molotov cocktails at the institutions and the police? Is it worth it to burn the fate of thousands and thousands of Albanians who aspire for education, employment, order and security, for progress and greater rights, for the "hater" of a man who was the "founder of democracy in Albania"? vital? Is it worth it for the fate of a single man, who has already chosen his "political fate", to gather every afternoon under his balcony, disrupt the peace of the entire neighborhood, and disturb the police structures, round the clock ?
Is it worth it that every day the media or the embassies deal with the statements of a single man, who has put the whole world in trouble for his trouble? Is it worth it for the government, its ministries, the justice bodies, or even any foreign ambassador, to take and give "retribution" to the man who would have been declared a "saint of freedom" if he had withdrawn , to never return to active politics? Is it worth sacrificing a political party, which was created as a group of idealists by the students of December '90, for the fate of a man who has filled his physical time to be retired? Is it worth it that in 2024, a full 34 years after the fall of the communist system, we deal with each other's biographies, and curse, accuse, and shoot each other harshly, for political divisions, just because it cannot be removed" non-grata" to the president for life?
I think that for these and all other facts and conjectures, there should be a different reaction from public opinion, interest groups and the whole society, to change everything related to our daily life. We should never be carried away by the passions of the past, and the rages of the political present.
In democracy, freedom of speech, thought and action are related to the level of education, education and civilization of each people. Albanians have been distinguished and continue to be, a people with natural intelligence, and they have always known how to have and maintain cultivated principles of citizenship.
After a protracted transition, the 2025 elections will definitely establish other political, social and societal balances, where the vote cast for progress and not regression, for the continuity of proper governance, serving the interest of to the majority of Albanians, and not at all to the destructive minority, which continues to create problems and obstacles in Albania's Euro-Atlantic journey.
