In a word, everything that happened these days with the so-called elections in the Democratic Party was nothing more than that process, when desperate people turn to gambling in the hope of winning something in the process, "Scratch and Win".
To the journalist's question about whether the Democratic Party is ready to win the next elections with this team, Sali Berisha replied that; (I quote verbatim).
"Today it (PD) has a team that it has never had before. I guarantee that a team like this in competence and experience (?!), in formation, is the superior team of this party at all times, and you can take this, examine it in turn... In this team that you have before you today, there are personalities who have publications at the highest world levels. There are personalities among them with great experience in their field, in the political field..., so I say that never in history has there been a team like this (PD)".
In my opinion, Sali Berisha has made many despicable statements in his history of statements, but this is his most despicable statement to date.
Why?
Because with this statement he is trying in vain to artificially convince Albanians, but also internationals, that this is the best leadership in the 35-year history that the DP has ever had, since he is aware that he himself and the profitable enterprise he leads are at the lowest level of public trust. Citizen protests in the streets of Tirana have been demanding the removal and imprisonment of both Rama and himself for over 40 days. But he continues to behave like Zhvejku. In fact, polls recently show him lower in public perception than in the year of his fall, in 1997.
At the same time, well-thought-out, with this statement, not without purpose, Berisha belittles all his former collaborators over the years, whom the Albanian public has recognized as professional, political and social heavyweights in the Albanian environment in general, and in the political environment of the DP in particular.
But Berisha cannot forgive those personalities, former ministers, former MPs, former senior leaders of the DP, his former collaborators, who today in his most difficult political days, have either opposed him and demanded his removal, or have supported him, but not enough according to him, or have chosen to remain indifferent and mind their own business. In his mind, he calls all three categories "ungrateful", because, always according to him, they should be grateful to him and only him for the political careers they have made in the past, or for the benefits that his power may have given to some.
Kështu që, siç i thonë një fjale, me këtë deklaratë Berisha, me një gurë vret dy zogj; nga njëra anë ul në sytë e publikut "malet" që kanë shënjuar historinë më të mirë të asaj partie, për të ngritur në kurriz të tij, "petalet" e reja, pa asnjë mendim politik të tyre, pa rekorde elektorale, por që të vetmen arsye për karrierë kanë faktin se së fundmi kanë dalë e vazhdojnë të dalin e të recitojnë në publik të njëjtat ditirambe besnikërie ndaj Bossit të tyre të ndërmarrjes fitimprurëse që quhet PD.
A ka midis tyre në kryesi njerëz që do ta meritonin të ishin aty në çdo kohë që të votoheshin?
Patjetër që po, por ama edhe këta, nëse nuk do kalonin më parë filtrin e besnikërisë së provuar ndaj "liderit histerik, dhe aspak historik", siç thotë një miku im nga Lazarati, profesor në SHBA, sot nuk do ta gjenin veten në atë kryesi. Ky është kriteri themelor i karrierës në atë parti, dhe ky nuk është zbulimi im, pra besnikëria dhe vetëm besnikëria ndaj shefit të ngjit në karrierë.
Për ta kuptuar më mirë se kush ka qenë dhe kush është sot në krye të PD, le të bëjmë një krahasimin siç thotë vet Berisha në intervistën e tij, duke u shtrirë në kohë, për të kuptuar më mirë se "Kush" sot, ka zëvendësuar "Kë”-në e atëkohshëm...
Pra, kush nga këto "petalet" e sotme të Saliut a e zëvendëson dot qoftë si peshë politike dhe qoftë si autoritet publik prsh:

Për të ardhur te vështrimi krahasues midis kryesisë së tanishme dhe kryesisë së 2000-2005 që përgatit dhe ardhjen e PD në pushtet në 2005-ën. Pra, kush e ka zënë sot vendin e;
Ish nënkryetarëve të PD, Bamir Topi, Jozefina Topalli, Jemin Gjana, Astrit Patozi dhe a e kanë ata peshën e tyte politiko-publike?

-Të sekretarit të marrëdhënieve me mediat dhe publikun, Spartak Ngjela?
-Të Besnik Mustafait, sekretarit të marrëdhënieve me jashtë?
-Të kryetarit të FRPD, Sokol Olldashi?
-Të sekretarit ligjor, Ilir Rusmaili?
-Të sekretarit organizativ, Ilir Bano,
Kush nga këta e ka zënë vendin dhe mund ta bëjë më mirë detyrën e anëtarit të kryesisë së PD, të;
Pjetër Arbnorit, Bardhyl Londos, Visar Zhitit, Uran Butkës, Njazi Kosovrasti, Ferdinand Pone, Zana Turku, Marjeta Zaçe, Lublin Dile, Pal Dajçi, Margarita Qirko etj.
Madie kush pretendon se merret sot me organizimin dhe e bën më mirë atë punë, t'i vijnë anës, se më kot e kanë, sado të përpiqet Saliu t'i hiperbolizojë si më të mirët, askush nuk mund të krahasohet dot as me Vili Minarollin, Shaban Meminë, a Bujar Nishanin, se më e organizuar se atëherë PD e Tiranës nuk ka qenë kurrë më mirë. Dhe as që ka për të qenë ndonjëherë sepse atëherë, pa celularët dhe rrjetet sociale që përdoren masivisht sot, punët bëheshin më mirë, se bëheshin me shpirt, e jo me llogari ofiqesh e parashë, siç sot.
Madie, as Paloka ky pragmatisti i sotëm, nuk e kapërcen dot Palokën, idealistin e djeshëm, kur shërbente si zëdhënës i partisë.
As Saliu i sotëm, nuk i afrohet fare Saliut të djeshëm, për arsyet që do t'i shkruaj më poshtë.
Në listën e sekretariateve, krahas "petaleve teknologjike të Saliut", vura re se kanë zënë vend edhe disa figura me të vërtetë të denja për pozicionet ku i kanë përcaktuar, si Ethem Aga te diaspora. Endira Bushati, te pronat. Ylli Asllani te pushteti vendor. Marash Logu te ligjori ku po maturohet përditë e më shumë, si dhe Andi Mustafaj te burimet njerëzore të cilin publiku e njeh si një i ri i mirë shkolluar, idealist, dinamik, elegant, dhe shumë pasionant. Shumë më kanë thënë se për nga pasioni që ka për politikën, dhe mënyra si e përdor verbin, më shumë u ngjan me Berishën impulsiv, se me Besnikun e qetë...Uroj që me kohë të gjej ekilibrin e duhur për të mos u perceptuar si zgjatim rinor i frymës berishiste, kurthi ku bien të gjithë të rinjtë pasionantë dhe karrieristë?
Ndërsa mburoja që bën Berisha për futjen e sa më shumë të rinjve, pa asnjë përvojë, por me të vetmin rekord se në debatet televizive a në foltoret e tij, kanë dëshmuar veç dashuri e besnikëri ndaj tij, është thjesht dëshmi e kompleksit që ka ai për shkak të kohës së tij 35 vjeçare në krye të PD, por edhe të moshës së tij biologjike shumë të thyer. Bashkohem me mendimin e një analisti që u shpreh ditën e djeshme te Euronews, se as fëmijët e ish politikanëve të lartë të PD që janë futur sot në kryesi, as nuk po i arrijnë, por as nuk po i tejkalojnë prindërit e tyre. Ky nuk quhet sukses, por dështim, natyrisht. Prandaj, Saliu u mundua që këtë gep, ta mbushte plot lavde sipërore për "arritje të jashtëzakonshme" të tyre në jetën politike dhe profesionale.
Dhe së fundi, jo kjo kryesi, por sikur yje të zbresin nga qielli në formë konstilacionesh e të futen në zyrat e asaj partie, gjithçka zerohet kur mendon se në krye të saj vazhdon të qëndrojë jashtë çdo rregulli statuor e moral, një autokrat me formim të qartë bolshevik, që vet vulos, vet vendos.

Nothing else counts, except if you have expressed reservations about him/them somewhere, where the opinion police have heard you and have told the great man about your distrust that the DP with him at the helm will never come to power.
I said above that in this Party, even S.Berisha, who leads it, is no longer the same as the then opposition. Why?
Because, if at that time Berisha was perceived by both those who supported him and the public as a man with "clean hands", today he is under investigation and in criminal trial accused of corruption. Meanwhile, his reputation is further damaged by a large number of protesters who have been chanting in the square every day for the past 45 days, "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison".[RP1]
Therefore, Berisha today has changed his optical perception such that the hills where he has chosen to sit in Albanian politics, seem to him like mountains, while the mountains where he sat yesterday, seem to him like fields. Or, in this sense, the "giants" of yesterday by whom he was surrounded in his work in leading the DP and the government, seem to him like nothing, while the "petals" without weight and political experience of today, seem to him like "giants". Just like Gulliver of the Irish writer, Jonathan Swift. (Jonathan Swift).
So, in a word, everything that happened these days with the so-called elections in the Democratic Party of Albania was nothing more than that process, when desperate people turn to games of chance in the hope of winning something in the process, "Scratch and Win". Of course, the only winner in these games always comes out and only the one who owns their license, the others simply follow the illusion that sooner or later they will win one day...
When they realize that playing that game is just a waste of time, for everyone, it will be too late...
That's why we say that this thing is no longer a party, but a profitable enterprise for a small handful of people who hold it hostage, and not for everyone else. The rest of us are simply prisoners of conscience, mainly hostages of gratitude to the "leader"...
