Contradictory legislators operate in politics. It often happens that the more you try to hide your intentions, the more you reveal them.
From the tone-deaf threats against the "Republic of Prosecutors" in December of last year to the first Resolution, the second Resolution and the Decision on the establishment of the parliamentary supercommission two days ago, Prime Minister Rama and his people, being in the cyclone of popular reactions, they have been careful to avoid expressions of tongue-in-cheek, that is, opposition to SPAK. On the contrary, as if they wanted to cover a mole on the forehead with make-up, they are endlessly repeating that SPAK is not affected. Are you saying that this is something optional: if they love you, they touch you, but they don't mean it!
The issues listed in the decision on the establishment of the supercommittee are in the normal work of the permanent committees of the Assembly. Whom the supercommission sees from above, duplicates, eclipses. Always if it will be fulfilled and work with the mind of those who conceived it.
The supercommission has nothing in common with the special commissions for certain comprehensive reforms, which have been set up from time to time in the Parliament of Albania. As it has been, the word comes, the commission for justice reform, the commission for administrative reform, or the commissions for electoral reform. No, there does not appear to be a particular major issue of this nature that would justify its rise. It is not seen that there is a concrete reform addressed, which the American and European partners would sponsor with direct commitment, such as the Law on Decriminalization or the Reform in Justice. The EU's recommendations for Albania respond to a dynamic of the country's step-by-step progress on the integration path. They may very well have to be dealt with in the framework of the European integration commission, of the commission of other laws, according to the fields.
The supercommittee is set up in the last year of the legislature when the parties start campaigning and when bipartisan initiatives are basically on the back burner.
The mandate of the supercommittee with the prerogatives of an unvoted legislative mini-assembly as such extends beyond the ongoing legislature, something we have never encountered.
In their connection, these "strange" elements, these shadows, seek to convey to courageous prosecutors and judges, but also to citizens who wish for a new start of democracy, the arrogant message of continuity" of the old caste, politically exhausted and shocked by criminal investigations. The message is: "We will be here, at the top, for years and years. In other words, to promote immutability, to discourage anti-establishment parties and electorates.
Under these conditions, in the version of filling and functioning with opposition MPs, the supercommission is above all the bipartisan makeup that the prime minister wants to do to the government marked by capillary corruption in the epilogue of his third term at the head of the government. Once, it is the figure of Gogol that the caste seeks to wave at the prosecutors and judges who are taking the law to the hitherto untrodden ground of the high spheres.
All this by introducing into the algorithm of the initiative the plight of the head of Reestablishment, Sali Berisha, his enmity against SPAK. And hoping that the former prime minister will find it useful to support him, if not from the beginning, along the way. If not to stop and scare SPAK, which remains a strong bone with American support, to soften or undo in bulk what are considered dangerous laws. As an example is the provision of abuse of office for which Mr. Berisha is being investigated. Abuse of office as a criminal offense is targeted. For this reason, the false alarm was raised that "officials are not signing", that "work in institutions is blocked". Precisely to legislate abuse of office.

Without the opposition groups, the supercommission is dead.
In fact, Rama and his people are honest. They know what they offer to the other party between the lines and beyond the beautiful words. They offer what they want for themselves. They are personally threatened by the abuse of office provision. At least. So they have their own problem. Is there any greater guarantee than this to understand how serious they are?
