It was so much more! It was the implementation of an order from above, in Belgrade, to scare the Albanians of Kosovo, to remind them of the bad dream of the previous years...
The arrest and humiliation of three Albanian policemen of the Republic of Kosovo is a very serious event. The Serbian special forces "Cobra", not only have violently entered the holy land of Kosovo, as if they were in a backyard of their home, where they dream of returning!
Arrogant and self-confident in their impunity, the Serbian special forces aimed to sow fear and publicly confess that they were ready to return to Kosovo as its former masters!
The sight of the Kosovo Albanian policemen was, to say the least, painful.
Badly armed and not at all suitable for difficult border tasks, with an angry, militaristic and aggressive state like Serbia.
It is surprising the long silence of KFOR, about this serious fact!
The first, the Serbian special forces "Cobra", depend on the President, the Chief of Staff of the Serbian Army and the Minister of Defense of the Serbian government. So their humiliating provocation is not an accident or a neurosis of some super cops, with hormonal explosions.
It was so much more! It was the implementation of an order from above, in Belgrade, to scare the Albanians of Kosovo, to remind them of the bad dream of the previous years. Belgrade still hopes that Prime Minister Kurti, or some nervous Albanian segment, will be able to react and turn this serious episode into a frontal conflict.
But beyond the folkloric boasts, with couplets, brandy or fattening of the patriotic nerve, it seems that the Albanians have forgotten that NATO or KFOR protects them and are unprepared to face combat situations!
And this is serious, but true and obviously the Serbs are a few steps ahead of us in this direction. This must be accepted and we must react strongly, investing in our national security, in Kosovo and Albania, despite the global protection that the internationals give us.
The second, the arrest, kidnapping and attack on the Albanian police in the Republic of Kosovo, is a test that the government of Serbia makes to the International Community.
The Serbs reckon that they can still justify to the foreign public that for everything that follows the act of the prime minister of Kosovo, in the municipalities of the north of Kosovo, the Albanian side always remains guilty.
But the game remains open. Who has more self-restraint will win, not who is more right.
The neurotic action of the Serbian "cobras", in the great mosaic of events, is in any case in favor of the Albanians, if the Albanians leave the ball in KFOR's field.
