The attempt to mask Berisha's final objective, which is not participating in the spring elections, is now called "technical government". In his political history of trying to return for the third time, Berisha has always disguised his objectives.
When in 2021 Lulzim Basha expelled him from the DP Parliamentary Group, due to the declaration "non grata" by the USA, for major corruption and undermining of democracy in Albania, he, in order to oppose the USA, disguised his fight with the "battle ” to democratize the party by blaming Lulzim Basha for all DP's losses since internal democracy and the votes of the democrats were missing. He had even boycotted the elections against Berisha's will.
And what did not promise. Baseline elections, unanimous decisions, primaries, etc. He even swore that there would be no more boycotts.
After two years he managed to get the parliamentary group with promises and bargains, he made direct appointments for party vice presidents and other functions with appointments directly from him, justifying them for the sake of "unity".
Now that the "unification" happened and he sees that the division was not avoided, on the contrary he decanted a part of the opposition against him by creating new parties, and when he sees that it is impossible to win or come close to winning in the elections spring, has invented the technical government, as a condition to enter the elections.
The result is very certain. There will be no technical government, and after that, it remains for Berisha to keep his word not to enter the elections.
We know how this story ends because it's a first movie.
In fact, the technical government, in addition to being an alibi for not entering the elections, is also a way to mask his non-escape from the party leader, as he has promised that whoever loses the elections must leave.
So the whole battle to keep the PD hostage to his family and his problems is masked by a request that no one intends to fulfill, nor can he fulfill, as if he were to stay 24 hours on the street with his gang.
