Serious accident in Italy, truck hits and kills 65-year-old Albanian

A fatal accident occurred yesterday afternoon (March 11), at around 3:00 PM, in the municipality of Azzano Decimo in Italy.

The victim is Xhavit Halilaj, a 65-year-old resident of Sacile, originally from Albania.

According to Italian media, Halilaj signaled a pickup truck transporting work equipment to stop, as it was losing part of its load.

Both vehicles pulled into the emergency lane. As the 65-year-old man got out of the car, he was hit by an oncoming truck.

The three people on board the car were injured in the accident and taken to the hospital.
