A serious accident happened this morning on the Cermë-Divjakë axis in Lushnje, where a 44-year-old man lost his life, while another young man was seriously injured.
A van and a motorcycle were involved in the accident. It is learned that after the accident, the van left the road and collided with an electric pole.
The driver of the motorcycle, 44-year-old Gëzim Allpici, remained dead, while the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Ismail Osmani, is in serious condition and has been sent to the Trauma Hospital.
"Around 05:15 on the "Divjakë-Lushnje" road axis, the "Benz" type vehicle driven by citizen QO, 22 years old, collided with a motorcycle driven by citizen GA, about 44 years old.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the motor vehicle, a citizen of GA, lost his life, while the driver of the "Benz" type vehicle was transported to the hospital for medical assistance.
The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident ," the police announced.
